Most our used engines are cellophane or saran wrapped to prevent dust,dirt and other materials from entering the engine after removal from the machine. We Also recommend you oil the engine according to manufacture specs for proper ring seating before running your used engine. We are not responsible for oil pump failure or any other causes that may affect this used engine. So follow manufacture service manuals for proper installation. Thanks
