The Artisan Edition Slaptop Cajon from MEINL represents a next-level take on an instrument that has gained a ton of popularity among percussionists for its unique tone and playability. The Artisan features an enlarged 6-ply Baltic Birchwood body with an upward-facing front port that really takes bass tone deeper than a standard cajon. In addition, a Palo Santo playing surface delivers wonderfully crisp snare slap tones that blend beautifully with the bass tone.
